Inside St Peter’s Cathedral

Having taken a few walks along both the Falls Road and Shankill Road lately, and feeling like an outsider on each, I will be posting a few of these images over the next few days.

This image is from inside St Peter’s Cathedral. It’s a High Dynamic Range using 3 exposures at 0.6sec, 0.3sec and 1.3sec. As I didn’t have a tripod with me at the time, I used one of the pews to rest the camera.

The cathedral itself is large and grand, and extremely quiet when there’s no one else about.

The Géode is a mirrored sphere of 6433 polished stainless steel triangles. It resides outside the Cité Des Sciences Et De L’Industrie (Science Museum) reflecting the sunlight and blue sky.
